16"x 20" Original Oil on canvas This is a contemporary approach to the portrait of a Black women. I was influenced by the younger generation sporting many colors of hair. I juxtaposed the bright colors in the hair and background while keeping the skin tones in shades of grey. I think the result is a unique and stunning study of a Black woman's face.
