Original - Oil on canvas 24' x 48" The first time I ever tasted palm wine was in an African restaurant in California. I was amazed how sparkling and mild it tasted and likened it to Asti Spumante champagne, but much better. To think that they have been enjoying this taste in Africa for long before Asti ever hit the market! This painting is in remembrance of that first taste and has cultural elements in the background.
