Martin & MacArthur proudly created the Whaler's Trunk inspired by 19th century seamen who had to pack their worldly possessions in a small amount of space for long sea voyages. The Whaler's Trunk is clean and simple, focusing on the beautiful grain of the premium Koa we choose for each trunk.   Our Hawaii craftsmen create the Whaler's Trunk with Koa harvested from previously fallen trees on the Big Island of Hawaii.  Martin & MacArthur never cuts down any live Koa. In fact, we are a leader in Kao restoration for future generations to enjoy.  Our Whalers Trunk is just the right size for smaller spaces and it even functions as a handy side table.
