The T33127 Benchtop Hollow-Chisel Mortiser employs four-sided chisels surrounding a drill bit to create square holes. It can also function as a drill press by accommodating a drill bit up to 1/2" in size. The multi-positional handle enhances leverage for plunging bits into workpieces. Featuring a 1/2 HP motor, easily adjustable depth stop, and smooth rack-and-pinion head travel, it ensures consistent and straightforward mortising in various wood types. The double steel support columns are ideal for daily use and offer durability without the added weight of solid cast-iron construction. Despite its light weight, the T33127 maintains rigidity for precise mortises and can be easily relocated within the workshop. It includes a built-in tool storage rack on the back of the headstock for convenience.
