The fish should not be housed with aggressive species like groupers, dottybacks, triggerfishes, or aggressive angelfishes. A well-balanced diet is essential for this fish's health. Offer a variety of meaty foods, including fortified brine shrimp, mysis, and other marine fresh or frozen options.
