Made in Italy. Founded by David Berti in 1895 in Florence, Italy, Coltellerie Berti produces knives with the same techniques and materials—ox horn, boxwood, and steel—that Berti first used. Produced in a small Italian factory by less than one dozen master knife makers, each knife is handmade by a single individual who follows the knife to completion, thus maintaining the integrity and authenticity that makes Berti knives some of the finest in the world.
