Nakiri with Redwood Burl Handle

I made this damascus Nakiri from a mix of materials including two high-carbon steels, 1095 and 15n20 and two decorative steels, nickel silver and antique wrought iron. A sculpted integral bolster bridges the blade with some action packed Redwood Burl that’s been faceted and tapered into a comfy handle.      This highly figured blade comes in at 238 grams with a 6.2” cutting edge. A hand stitched, vegetable tanned leather saya also accompanies this knife.     Details-  Weight: 8.4oz. / 238g.
