Handmade Chefs Knife with Composite Handle

This kitchen blade is a lean and lightweight general purpose Chef's Knife. The blade, made with 1095 High Carbon Steel, has a fully-flat grind that has been shaped by hand and finish sanded to 800 grit to satin finish. Blade details: 2.2mm thick out of handle 7.25” / 184mm cutting edge 14” 350mm overall 46mm at heel 158g / 5.6 oz weight The tapered Wa style shaped handle is made from an aqua colored custom composite similar to Micarta. Orange G10 has been used for the spacer.   The wooden saya cover has been made specifically for this knife and has been wrapped with a patterned paper.
