Fast, Simple, Manual Electronics Assembly With its easy-gliding head (which rotates up to 360deg), the SMT Place 2000 is more accurate and efficient than placing components by hand. The control knob, located right on the head, makes adjusting component polarity and alignment-to-pad effortless. Simply touching down on a component from a tape feeder or one of the unit's loose parts bins will activate the vacuum, picking up the part. Then, touching down onto the PCB will shut off the vacuum, placing the part. The pressure is fully adjustable and placement nozzles are easy to change out.
