F-105 Thunderchief Airplane Model

The Republic F-105 Thunderchief was delveoped as a single seat fighter to deliver nuclear weapons. It had an internal bombbay that was later modified to carry an extra fuel tank. It was soon deployed to Southeast Asia and saw extensive service in the Vietnam War. It flew the majority of missions and had a high loss rate. It was fast and known to absorb a great deal of battle damage. It could carry a wide variety of weapons to supplement its internal 20 mm cannon. It is credited with 25 Mig kills.&nbsp, Mahogany Wood.
