This is not a beginner class. It's for kids who know how to sew on a sewing machine before they come to camp. Summer Sewing Camp 2025 - BOOKWORM WEEK!  (July 14-17, 1:00-3:00) Room for 12 students Gilbert, Arizona. Designed specifically for boys and girls (ages 8 and up) who have at least taken a beginner sewing class within the past 6 months (and can easily thread and use a sewing machine and follow a pattern while staying focused). In this camp students will build their skills and make multiple projects that they can show off to friends and family while learning more complex types of machine and hand sewing. Classes are for 4 days, 2 hours each day. Projects we will work on are: Book cover for their favorite book (they need to bring it so we can measure it), elastic bookmark with pencil pocket, corner place holder, and a throw pillow with a book pocket for their bedroom.
