Hudson + West Weld

Weld is the new fingering weight yarn by Hudson + West. It is a squishy blend of 70% American Merino and 30% American Corriedale fleece, giving this yarn the best of both worlds: the great softness, loft, and next-to-skin wearability of the Merino; and the natural color, great strength, and durability of Corriedale, for heirloom-quality FOs. Weld is a 3-ply gem, spun in a semi-worsted system, which combines some of the airy, delicate bloom of a woolen-spun yarn with the strength, structure, and stitch definition of a worsted yarn. The best natural qualities of both breeds shine through. Weld is American from sheep to skein: sourced, spun, and dyed.
