Crushed Red Goldstone Chips (Synthetic), Pea-Sized Gravel (2mm-4mm)
Red Goldstone is a synthetic, glittering glass that was originally manufactured in Venice during the 17th century. Red Goldstone is made in a low-oxygen reducing environment and contains tiny crystals of metallic copper within a silica matrix. During production, silica, copper oxide, and other metal oxides are melted together and then cooled very slowly to form these tiny glittering crystals. Goldstone does polish up nicely and would be great in your inlay or jewelry projects. Our coarse material is considered to be pea- sized gravel, ranging between 4 millimeters to 2 millimeters. Please see the corresponding sediment size chart.
