Lapis lazuli is a rock that is composed of three important minerals: 1) lazurite (royal blue), 2) calcite (white), and 3) pyrite (metallic gold). This premium quality lapis is from Afghanistan and has a very deep, royal-blue color. This gorgeous, crushed material will give all of your projects that special "pop". Our medium material is considered to be sand sized (very coarse sand to fine sand), ranging between 2 millimeters to 0.25 millimeters.
