Nephrite jade is a fibrous mineral that forms as a result of hydrothermal fluids altering the Earth's crust. Treasured for over 7,000 years, this sacred gemstone has special significance in many Asian cultures and traditions. This particular crushed jade is from China and is very high-quality and clean material. The images show what crushed jade looks like when wet and dry. The wet photos are a great example of what the crushed stone will look like once it is sealed with a resin or protective coating.  Our coarse material is considered to be pea- sized gravel, ranging between 4 millimeters to 2 millimeters.
