Crushed Mano de Lion Powder from Mexico, Fine Crush (<0.25mm)
▏ABOUT ⧫ MANO DE LION▕ Mano de lion, also known as paw of the lion, are scallops that have colorful orange shells with large knobs similar to that of a lion’s paw. Many of these marine molluscs live off the coast near the Baja Peninsula and in the Sea of Cortez. These crushed shells have vibrant orange and purple hues that are mixed together with the white inner portion of the shell. The mano de lion powder is mainly a peach color and would be a great addition to your inlay work. ▏MATERIAL ⧫ SIZE▕ Our powdered material consists of mostly silt and clay sized particles (<0.25mm). Our powders do have a slight grit to them. Powdered minerals are great for filling in small cracks or voids, resin art, and creating textured paints and pigments. ▏MINERAL ⧫ PROPERTIES▕ Mohs’s Hardness: 3 (Calcium Carbonate) Specific Gravity (g/cm3): 2.70 - 2.89 Luster: Greasy Color: Peach Origin: Baja, Pacific Coastal Waters ▏EXTRA ⧫ LISTING ⧫ INFORMATION▕ This product is not man-made, mixed with resin
