This material is a blend of kyanite and ruby in matrix with minor amounts of green fuchsite and silvery muscovite. This beautiful, high-pressure metamorphic rock came from India, where high-pressure plate tectonics are very active. This unique combination of minerals would be an ideal selection for those seeking an unconventional material for their project. Our medium material is considered to be sand sized (very coarse sand to fine sand), ranging between 2 millimeters to 0.25 millimeters.
