Crushed Mixed Blue-Green Chrysocolla Sand from Peru, Medium Sand (0.25mm-2mm)

Chrysocolla is a bright blue-green mineral that naturally forms near large copper ore deposits and is generally found with other copper-rich minerals, such as malachite and turquoise. This chrysocolla is from Peru and is a gorgeous mix of light blue-green and dark blue chrysocolla. This material is a great choice for woodworking projects, since chrysocolla is a relatively soft mineral, with a Moh's hardness of 2.5-3.5. Our medium material is considered to be sand sized (very coarse sand to fine sand), ranging between 2 millimeters to 0.25 millimeters.
