
Crushed Violet-Lilac Charoite Sand from Russia, Medium Sand (0.25mm-2mm)
Charoite is a rare silicate mineral that was first discovered during the 1940's near the Chara River in Eastern Siberia, Russia. This mineral has a distinctive swirling pattern of various purple color hues, making it a true collector's item. This crushed material has a gorgeous and rich lavender color that slightly darkens when sealed in resin or other adhesives. Our medium material is considered to be sand sized (very coarse sand to fine sand), ranging between 2 millimeters to 0.25 millimeters. Please see the corresponding sediment size chart.
