Manufactured in Germany to a constant recipe to ensure a consistent high quality steel.   1084 requires a very simple heat treat and is a great choice for those looking to grind or forge a high quality blade without the requirements of a complex heat treatment.  Lengths may be +/- 1/8" Thickness note:  the thickness of this blade steel may be slightly oversized by .01-.015 inches.  The listed thickness is the finishing thickness.
