Natural Dyeing Workshop with @salt.textile.studios

Join weaver and textile artist Kayla Powers for the first part of her Natural Dye + Weaving weekend intensive. In this class, students will spend the afternoon learning about botanical color, processing roots, flowers and berries for dye, mordanting and dyeing a variety of fibers including cotton and wool yarn and silk fabric.  Students will leave with the knowledge and skills to work with plant dyes at home as well a set of hand-dyed samples. No previous experience necessary.
