Overview: We love almost everything about the new Ford Transit AWD (Does not fit 2WD). While the new Transit is quickly gaining a reputation as a fantastic option in the Adventure Van market, there are a few aspects that need some addressing. First and foremost are the hideous factory wheels. We don't use that word often, but let's face it, those wheels take an otherwise fantastic van and make it look even more like a plumbing van. From the first moment we got our Transit, we knew we wanted to create a capable and beautiful wheel solution for it. Offset - The offset of a transit wheel is what makes them look so odd from the factory. It is not often (with the exception of a dually) that the hub mounting surface is outside of the wheel. This is how the offset is on the Transit AWD. Due to those strange offsets it makes it very hard for wheel manufacturers to make a decent-looking wheel for the AWD Transit.
