Delicious when brewed hot or cold, this loose tea is the outer shell of the cacao bean. The fibrous shells are a byproduct of "winnowing," which removes them from the cacao bean after the roasting process. They still retain much of the cacao flavor and theobromine, and make a wonderful superfood tea!Great when added to coffee, as it can add an extra boost of energy, slow the caffeine crash, and reduce the acidic taste of coffee.
