FireStorm™ Large 3/8" Ferro Rod & Tinder Kit

Our FireStorm ferro rod is a large 3/8" diameter to ensure that it is strong enough to hold up when it's crunch time. Our special PyroStryke™ ferrocerium alloy blend ensures over 15,000 strikes of showering hot sparks (up to 5500 degrees) assuring quick combustion of the included FireRope tinder that will quickly and easily light a fire even in the worst weather conditions. The solid wood ergonomic handle provides a sure grip when striking the Ferro rod when starting a fire, and the red 550 paracord neck lanyard makes it easy to carry. Each FireRope contains approximately 4 smaller wound rope sections which can be peeled apart exposing hundreds of smaller wax infused strands that can be made into a "birds nest" to easily catch a spark and ignite. Just wad the strands into a small bundle, place the ferrous rod in the center, and in a few strikes you'll have a fire going.
