Made from Heavy Duty 12-gauge steel and finished in a super tough baked on powder coat finish with UV inhibitors that will not fade over time like most other paints. True sized Joist hangers are typically used on rough cut lumber or some hardwood lumber boards.  Most boards from the hardware store are nominal sized.  Which means if you  buy a 2x6 from the lumberyard it typically comes in a dimension as 1-9/16x5-1/2" so please measure your post first to confirm before ordering these as they are all made to order and considered custom.
