One Gallon Grafted VE-19 Pawpaw Tree for Sale. Also known as Valley East 19 Pawpaw VE-19 Pawpaw is a variety that was bred by Jerry Lehman that he thought had a lot of potential. This is a very difficult to find variety that we do not have much information on. Tree Size: 16-18" tall tree in a 4"x4"x13.5" tree pot. Mature Size: 15-20 feet tall / wide (if unpruned) Approximate Hardiness: Zones 5-9 Pollination: Requires a second variety for pollination Ripening Time: Early Ripening (August/September in Kentucky) Asimina Triloba Planting Information:Pawpaws do well, in well draining soil with a heavy mulch layer planted in full sun or partial shade.
