Antique stoneware bottle blacking bottle primitive salt glaze pottery farm decor WE001

This is an antique stoneware blacking bottle with a salt glaze. Great addition for a collection of primitive antique stoneware pottery, or farm decor. These bottles commonly held boot & harness blacking, or stove polish. They were used until 1910.The bottle is in fair shape with lots of crazing, and some chips. It's still a nice solid piece, and would be wonderful home decor.It measures approximately 5" tall, 2" opening diameter, and 2 1/2" base diameter.
