  This honey is from the nectar of the Ohia Lehua, a flower with a beautiful red bloom that is closely associated with the volcano goddess Pele. It is found throughout Hawaii and is one of the first trees to grow after a lava flow. On Kauai, it is most frequently found high up in the mountains and it can be seen in Koke'e on many of the canyon and valley hikes. This honey has a buttery mouthfeel and sings with floral notes.
