Louis Vuitton and Nigo collaborated on a capsule collection called LV2 or (Louis Vuitton Squared.) The late Virgil Abloh worked with Japanese designer Nigo, a producer, DJ, and the founder of the streetwear label BAPE. This limited edition Louis Vuitton x NIGO Giant Damier Ebene Bear Pochette Jour GM combines NIGO's Japanese roots and Abloh's streetwear background. The iconic damier canvas has been reimagined into a giant damier print with a white bear painted over the canvas. The laptop case opens to a black microfiber interior with a patch pocket. The original Louis Vuitton Damier Canvas was invented in 1888. Almost a century later, in 1998, the pattern was relaunched as the Damier Ebène, and it has been one of the biggest successes in Louis Vuitton history. A wide collection of Damier canvases have been introduced since then and its unique geometric pattern and understated elegance makes this a LV classic.
