It is recommended to use electrical grade silicone or UV glue for indoor installations where there is no moisture. For outdoor or moisture-rich installation areas, it is necessary to use a marine-grade sealant (ex: 3M 5200 Marine Sealant) to fully secure and seal this end cap to your strip light, ensuring moisture will not enter and damage the LEDs.
