Organic Clemson Spineless Okra is probably the variety that most of us have seen. It has been passed down through multiple generations and even won an All-American Selections award in 1939. What is most important to know though is that these are very easy to grow and produce abundant Okra to eat, freeze-dry or add to traditional Gumbos. The plant grows to 3-5 feel tall and bears uniform deep-green, ribbed, and spineless pods that can grown to 5" long but are best when they are picked at about 3". TIP: Keep picking the Okra from the plant to encourage more production through the season. Packets: 15 & 25 seeds Directions: Sow Okra directly outdoors once all danger of frost has passed in your growing zone. There is no harm in starting them early indoors if you have room, in that case start 2-3 weeks before last frost date in your area. Once plants produce first sets of leaves harden outdoors and then transplant to garden or container. Special germination instructions: Soak okra seeds
