Description The gmelina philippensis ('melina') has a unique flower that gives it the nickname "Parrot Beak." The flower has a single seed, and is native to the Philippines, India and Southeast Asia. The shiny green foliage can be round, oval, or look like english ivy. This wonderfully spiny bonsai is very easy to care for indoor, and can be indoors or outdoors down to the low 30's.
