workshop / intro to working with metals + making stack rings

-Workshops are from 6-8pm see dates below. -No experience necessary, beginners welcome. -All tools and materials provided. -Using copper and silver wire you will learn how to make a set of 5 silver rings and 3 copper rings in a 2 hour workshop. -Beginner metal smithing skills will be introduced: learn cutting/filing/sanding/texturizing and basic usage of hand tools. -Learn to solder with an acetylene torch and a micro-torch which can be safely used at home. -After this workshop students can join our  INDEPENT PROJECT STUDIO TIME  independent session with guidance on a project of your choice or we will guide you through the making process of a design of your own. Knowledge of basic skills such as soldering, filing and using a torch are required.  -Please note that this is a hands on course using hand tools and a small flame. -This is very small and detailed work please bring necessary visual aids such as readers if needed for close up work. -By signing up and paying for this workshop
