Tulip Cowl Knit + Crochet Kit

Our Tulip Cowl Kit is an excellent way to kick-start your warm-weather knitting! The colorful rows created by the stitch pattern remind us of tulip beds in spring.              We made our cowls in summer favorite, Sandnes Garn Line, creating a cool crisp accessory for the new season. The soft, drapey fabric is just enough to keep the chill off in the A.C. without being too warm! The knit version of Tulip is knit in the round using simple slip stitches- you only work with 1 yarn at a time! The crochet version of Tulip is worked flat using alternating bands of striped single crochet + half double crochet mesh. The middle panel is worked first and then the border is picked up. At the end, seam the two short ends together.  Please note: you can make either the knit OR crochet version with this kit- there is not enough yarn for both. You'll need to add: Knit version: US 6 24-inch circular needles Crochet version: G hook  Details Each kit includes: 4 skeins of Line- 2 of the main color, and one each of the contrast colors.
