Louet Spring II Loom

Come try out our Spring II loom in our showroom!  Most models are in stock for quick shipping or pickup. The Spring parallel countermarch loom is available in weaving widths of 35" and 43" and 8 or 12 shafts.  The 12-shaft Spring looms come with 14 treadles and the 8-shaft with 10 treadles.  The Spring has a wide shed and distributes tension evenly on the upper and lower threads. As with all countermarch looms, the tie-up for each treadle involves a tie-up for the each shaft on either the upper or lower lamm.   However unlike non-parallel countermarch looms, it is much simpler to get a good even shed on the upper and lower threads. The warp beam is held by a friction brake, enabling you to advance the fabric sitting at your loom.  The beater adjusts for height and level and is removable for threading. The Spring is made of lacquered beech and comes with the castle section assembled to ease the set up of the loom. The design of the loom includes a built-in raddle on top of the cas
