This colorway was inspired by the Plated Prisoner series by Raven Kennedy. It is a dark adult romantasy retelling of King Midas, where everything he touches turns to gold, including the woman he keeps in a cage. Not for the faint of heart and there are TW, but it is one of my favorites. Auren becomes a pretty badass FMC after discovering her worth.
