Hear Me Out: An Introduction to the Persuasive Essay

1-Week Writing Camp for Students in Grades 6-12 Persuasive Writing is frequently required across various subjects, not just Language Arts. In this introductory class, students will learn how to write and structure a 5-paragraph persuasive essay that captivates and convinces their teacher and peers.  Topics include: 5-paragraph essay structure Interesting hook Concise Thesis Clear Topic sentences Effective supporting details Impactful closing Perfect for middle and high school students looking to enhance their essay writing skills.  5 sessions, 2.5 hours each July 8 - 12, 2024 (In-Person) Monday-Thursday: 10:30 - 1 pm; Friday: 10 - 12:30 pm
