New rum blend from Ed & Jeff: eight different distillates: a blend of Jamaican rums of various ages, sourced from Worthy Park; a blend of at least three older Guyana rums aged two to five years, sourced from Demerara Distillers; and a relatively light, column-stilled Trinidad rum (119 Proof/59% ABV)ZOMBIE RECIPE (from the Beachbum)2 oz Beachbum Berry’s Zombie Rum Blend3/4 oz fresh lime juice1/2 oz white grapefruit juice1/2 oz Latitude 29 Formula Falernum1/2 oz cinnamon syrupTeaspoon pomegranate syrup1/8 teaspoon (8 drops) Pernod or HerbsaintDash Angostura bitters3/4 cup (6 oz) crushed iceBlend everything at high speed for no more than 5 seconds. Pour into a tall glass. Add ice to fill. Garnish with a mint sprig.
