Thomas S. Moore Cabernet Sauvignon Cask Finished Bourbon is a distinguished release from the Barton 1792 Distillery, known for its high-rye mash bill and tradition of producing premium bourbons. Named after the distillery’s founder, this whiskey represents an "ultra-premium" collection, expertly blending Kentucky’s classic bourbon heritage with the influence of rich wine casks. After aging in new, charred oak barrels for an undisclosed period, this bourbon undergoes an extended maturation of 1 to 3 years in Cabernet Sauvignon casks. This secondary finish imparts bold flavors of dark fruits and wine tannins, elevating the natural complexity of the bourbon.
