40MPGR-150 EPDM - Rubber Fab Envelope Seal PTFE Gasket - 1.5" The ENVELOPE SEAL TYPE III PTFE GASKET WITH FILLERS is an excellent choice for applications requiring high chemical resistance. This gasket comprises a PTFE envelope with an EPDM or FKM Fluoroelastomer insert. The PTFE envelope provides unparalleled chemical resistance, while the elastomeric insert provides the flexibility needed to create a tight seal. The gasket meets FDA and USP Class VI standards, which is ideal for pharmaceutical and biotech applications. The inserts also have temperature ranges of -30ºF to 300ºF (-34ºC to 149ºC) for EPDM and -30ºF to 400ºF (-34ºC to 204ºC) for FKM. Regarding envelope seals, the PTFE Envelope Type III Tri-Clamp Gasket sets the standard for quality and performance.
