This is a beautiful set of 4 Copeland Late Spode Peplow crescent moon shaped dishes made in England for Harrods department store in the late 19th/early 20th century. These lovely antique dishes were originally used as bone dishes to hold fish or chicken bones discarded from dinner plates. The Peplow pattern (568948) features floral and botanical designs in lilac, yellow, green and pinks on a white background with yellow trim. They would look great in a plate wall, mixed in a tablescape and used as trinket dishes or snack plates. Based on the back-stamp  and impressed marks these date to between 1890 and 1910, and are in excellent antique condition with age related crazing. Each measure 8.25" x 4.25" No chips or cracks
