This DIGITAL BUNDLE provides students with an opportunity to read a variety of text message threads and answer comprehension questions about them. Each of the scenarios outlined in the examples is based on real-world encounters students might experience themselves one day. The text messages are realistic, age-appropriate, and contain real world content that students can relate to. This is an excellent activity to promote functional reading skills and practice comprehension in a manner that is highly motivating for students as well. This activity is specifically formatted to be used with Google Drive and is compatible with Google Classroom. Google Drive is an amazing resource that many educators are now using as an interface to support 1:1 digital instruction in the classroom.
