If you have an old school IC-706 or IC-7000 and want to mount it in your car...but you do not have the MB-63 or MB-105 and can not find one...this mount is for you. If you have an ID-5100 and do not want to spend $40-$50.00 for the MBA-2 or maybe have lost it, this mount is for you. We have developed a holder that will securely hold your IC-706, IC-7000 or ID-5100 control head. The holder has enough tension to grab the control head and a rubber non skid insert. This is our CD Mount for all of you with old school vehicles that still have a CD player....lots of us out there! The bracket slides into the CD slot and does not go in far enough to activate the player, a simple lever push tightens the legs of the bracket into the CD slot.
