VERY LIMITED QUANTITIES AVAILABLE!! Late summer is berry picking season in Alaska. A wide variety of berries grow wild throughout Alaska. They are sweeter and more flavorful than their cultivated cousins. Some of the hot spots for berry picking include Chugach State Park, Denali National Park, Denali State Park, Sheep Mountain, Flattop Mountain Trail and Rendezvous Peak Trail. Enjoy berry picking throughout the state, but watch out for other berry lovers, the bears! Berry Pickers is the latest collection from Barbara Lavallee celebrating the culture and customs of Alaska. Wearing traditional Kuspuks, the ladies and children joyfully pick berries together as shown in the panel, border stripe and featured prints. Blueberry and high-bush cranberry prints as well as traditional Kuspuk calicos coordinate with the focal prints in a palette of fresh hues including turquoise, red and blue with a pop of yellow for contrast. A selection of Toscana prints completes the collection.
