The Disruptive Environments™ “X” Chest Rig (D3CRX) was purpose built for patrols and reconnaissance missions where a lightweight rig with more storage capacity is needed for carriage of essential equipment without sacrificing maneuverability in urban, vehicle, and other confined spaces. When run as a standalone platform, the X Chest Rig maintains a low profile capable of being worn fully loaded under a normal/loose fit jacket or sweatshirt without overtly printing. When run on an armor platform with a quick release system, the chest rig can be attached or stowed in seconds giving the end user the versatility to transition from low vis to high vis or vice versa.The four integrated magazine pouches were dimensioned for carriage of 5.56x45, 5.45x39, and 7.62x39 magazines utilizing the adjustable shock cord and pull-tab retention system for secure storage.
