"The Saddle Series - Meyer Premium"

THE STORY: This oil painting of a Meyer Premium saddle is painted on an 8x8" panel with a 10x10" open grain wood frame. I adore the stitching on this saddle. Look how there's an "M" stitched above the stirrup leather keeper! The whole saddle looks almost iridescent with all of the different layers of paint working together. 5 hours and 45 minutes went into creating this painting. Was it brought along to horse shows? Maybe a little girl struggled to throw it over a school pony's back every Wednesday after school.
