"The Saddle Series - Butet Premium"

THE STORY: This oil painting of a Butet Premium saddle is painted on an 10x10" panel with a 12x12" open grain wood frame. There's so many colors layered together (using 10 different tubes of paint) and the wrinkles were pretty tricky to paint just right. Similar to "The Saddle Series - Butet Classic", the stirrup leather stains and iridescent layers of paint come together to create this beautiful French saddle. 7 hours and 35 minutes went into creating this painting. Was it brought along to horse shows? Maybe a little girl struggled to throw it over a school pony's back every Wednesday after school.
