"Nose Series" Folded Cards

THE STORY: Originally inspired by a painting I created for a college assignment, nose paintings are playful alternatives to traditional full-body portraits. This “Nose Series” started as an experiment to see how different noses looked with different colored backgrounds. I had six panels to paint on so I decided that the background colors would mimic how horse show ribbons are colored (with the 6th place color appearing more seafoam green in its painting).
