"Freckled" Canvas Prints

THE STORY: Featuring my chestnut mare’s speckled and freckled nose, this was the first painting I created in a local oil painting class I took after graduating college. While creating this painting, I learned different painting techniques that I was not familiar with at the time; however, those different techniques and applications are now part of my current painting process and routine. “Freckled” is the starting point from which all of my paintings began to have a greater sense of depth and color vibrancy.
