Design Institute America 1985 Cantilever Bar Chrome and Fabric Chair and Ottoman

A 1985 Design Institute American cantilever lounge chair and ottoman. This is a lovely contemporary modern lounge chair set. It features a gorgeous modern flat chrome bar frame with a plush tufted bubble cushion seat. The frame is very rectangular in shape, but features lovely curvy details and small cylinders in the creases of the flat bar legs. All of these curves, as well as the plush, round cushions, come together for a very visually intriguing piece of furniture. The gray fabric upholstery features a very subtle textured abstract geometric pattern. The bottom side of the chair features the DIA placard as pictured above. This chair and ottoman are both in very good vintage condition. The chair measures 35 inches tall, 28 inches wide, and 31 inches deep. It has a seat height of 16 inches, a seat depth of 19 inches, and a back height of 24 inches.
